Born in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Maree is a committed behaviour support practitioner who holds a Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Applied Counselling and has a strong background in trauma informed care. Prior to moving to Australia, Maree has as a First Care Practitioner (Therapist) for three years, which involved collaborating closely with families to ensure children remained in their home environment while addressing trauma and behavioural issues through targeted interventions.

Maree enjoys working with people across all age groups and has a genuine interest in learning from and engaging with different cultures and their cultural practices. Central to her approach is respect, compassion and empathy and she believes in walking alongside her participant’s as they work toward more fulfilling lives.
